You have a Master degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Econometrics,...)? Check You have relevant experience in an analytical pricing role? Check Knowledge of standard actuarial topics, in Health or P&C? Check You are fluent in French or Dutch with good knowledge of English? Check You have a good knowledge of SAS? Check Knowledge of R is considered a big plus. You have strong analytical skills with the ability to work in a cross border domain? Check You can work autonomously but you are a true team player seeking for alignment and collaboration? Check
We count on you for the following tasks:
- Create and adjust the rate determination formulas for each contract category
- Calculate and manage the reserves to be built up to meet the commitments
- Monitor the profitability and execution of simulations to estimate medium-term evolution
- Prepare the budget planning
- Point of contact with official entities (Assuralia, NBB, FSMA,...) and if requested delivering the required reports or preparing portfolio statistics for management control, risk management, accounting, FSMA, NBB,...
- Participation in technical working groups and meeting with Assuralia and other external parties
- Following up the evolutions of the results and suggesting appropriate measures
- Analyze profitability of new and existing products
- Be responsible for the technical reporting (analyzing quality of new business, conducting technical studies,...)
- Participating in the development of new products or adapting existing offerings
- Analyzing and taking actions regarding the profitability of the risk cover
- Defining and analyzing the margin of the different products
- Determine and manage the lump sum reserves, claims reserves for accrued disability interest
- Providing technical support to other departments
