What's Cooking? Is een Europese verse voedingsgroep gespecialiseerd in hartige producten. De groep, met hoofdkantoor in België, biedt een breed assortiment van hoogwaardig en innovatief hartig beleg, snacks en bereide gerechten (ook bekend van Come a casa) en aanverwante diensten aan, in Europa en daarbuiten. Onze klanten en consumenten staan steeds centraal bij de bereiding van onze voedingsproducten, net als het welzijn van onze circa 2. medewerkers in ons hoofdkantoor, 12 industriële vestigingen in België, Nederland, Frankrijk, Polen en het VK, en 7 verkoopkantoren. What's Cooking Group (voordien Ter Beke genaamd) bestaat 75 jaar en staat sinds als familiebedrijf genoteerd op Euronext Brussel (EBR: WHATS). De groep realiseerde in een omzet van miljoen euro.

Voor onze Business Unit Savoury in Lievegem zijn we op zoek naar een gedreven Quality Assurance Engineer met potentieel om door te groeien naar Quality Manager.

Je maakt deel uit van het Food Safety Quality & Regulatory (FSQR) team en assisteert de Quality/FSQR-Manager bij het beheren van het Quality Management System binnen de plant. Het plant FSQR team begeleidt het plant team en ondersteunt in een performante uitvoering van processen, van aankomst van de grondstoffen t.e.m. het afgewerkte product, om een constante productkwaliteit en klantentevredenheid te garanderen.

  • Je volgt samen met de collega's van de plant de verschillende kwaliteitsrichtlijnen, kwaliteitsprocedures, niet-conformiteiten en kwaliteitsprocessen binnen de plant nauwgezet op. Je staat in voor de opvolging van kwaliteitscontroles en analyses van o.a. grondstoffen, eindproducten,…
  • Je werkt nauw samen met de quality control collega's van het interne lab.
  • Je voert verbeterprojecten uit en werkt samen met interne stakeholders om FSQR documentatie op te stellen en aan te passen. Je volgt FSQR KPI's op en bereidt de periodieke interne rapportering voor.
  • Je staat in voor de FSQR opleiding van medewerkers.
  • Je behandelt klachten van klanten en leveranciers waarbij je samenwerkt met collega's om op basis van een oorzaakanalyse correctieve acties en preventieve maatregelen door te voeren. Je neemt deel aan meetings met leveranciers, evalueert het actieplan dat ze aanleveren en volgt de KPI inzake leveranciersklachten op.
  • Je werkt mee aan de uitvoering van de interne auditplanning in de plant. Je bereidt externe audits mee voor, organiseert mee en zorgt voor het goede verloop van de audit. Je voert interne audits uit in de andere bedrijven van de divisie en werkt samen met collega's om verbeterplannen door te voeren.
  • Onder de vleugels van de huidige FSQR-Manager leer je de kneepjes van het vak met als doel haar taken binnen ± 2 jaar over te nemen.

Waarmee versterk jij ons team?

  • Je beschikt over een hoger diploma binnen bijv. voeding/biotechnologie en hebt relevante ervaring in de voedingsindustrie. HACCP/IFS is jou alvast niet onbekend.
  • Je hebt minstens 3-5 jaar ervaring in een quality omgeving.
  • Jouw persoonlijkheid wordt verder getypeerd door jouw hands-on mentaliteit en administratieve skills. Je werkt ordelijk, accuraat en gaat georganiseerd te werk.
  • Naast een goede kennis van het Nederlands en Engels kan je ook vlot met MS-Office overweg.
