Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying optimization opportunities in the manufacturing process and implementing concrete actions to enhance operational performance (e.g., changing machining strategies, modifying process plans, updating technical definitions, etc.).
  • Coordinating improvement projects, leading trials, or conducting design of experiments while ensuring proper documentation of your analyses and results.
  • Managing technical relationships with various suppliers (tools, tooling, calculation service providers, manufacturers/designers of production equipment, etc.).
  • Developing expertise in the capabilities and limitations of all equipment used in your production line (machining centers, lathes, deburring robots, broaching machines, grinders, etc.).
  • Anticipating and preventing issues in the manufacturing process or production equipment by conducting FMEAs, identifying malfunctions, proposing corrective actions, and validating necessary changes.
  • Participating in product industrialization, from budgeting (DTP) through the development phases and concurrent engineering with the design office to product commissioning and ramp-up management.
  • Drafting technical specifications for the renewal, retrofitting, or improvement of production equipment (machines, tools, etc.) and providing purchasing recommendations based on market analysis and investment offers.
  • Contributing to technical analyses of machine capacity-load alignment and identifying investment needs (total load: industrialization, production, R&D).
  • Taking part in the design and implementation of new production lines or the reorganization of existing ones to improve ergonomics and automation while ensuring smoother workflows.
  • Ensuring knowledge management through a rigorous and structured capitalization of lessons learned.
  • Conducting design of experiments, leading validation trials for new machining strategies, and documenting your analyses through reports, procedures, and knowledge management documents.

Your Profile

At Capgemini Engineering, we’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for method manual, cost estimation, production
  • Brings experience in aero production or manufacturing (e.g., at least a first experience in method engineering.).
  • Language Skills: Fluent in French and English.
  • Is familiar with CATIA
