V RT zet meer en meer in op het gebruik van VR, AR, XR,om de productiestudio’s multifunctioneler te maken en ze efficiënter in te zetten door deze technologieën te implementeren in LED en Greenkey-omgevingen.
Wij zoeken 2 nieuwe collega’s die niet alleen mee in de cockpit willen zitten om met deze nieuwe technologieën de tv-studio van de toekomst te ontwikkelen en zo een omslag te maken van oa. fysieke decors naar virtuele decors, maar ook de hoofdrollen opnemen in het integreren van alle technologie tot een logisch en goed werkend architecturaal geheel.
Je werkt hiervoor samen met je collega’s van het technologieteam TV-Studio’s en/of VRT Innovatie.
Passie voor virtuele technologie
Je bouwt integraties met Unreal Engine in productie-omgevingen. Je hebt daarvoor ervaring met hoe je op een gestructureerde manier aan software ontwikkeling doet.
Je werkt mee en geeft mee advies bij grote projecten. Tijdens deze projecten volg je de installatie en oplevering ervan op. Kleine projecten voer je zelfstandig uit.
Je werkt mee aan het technische design van virtuele productie-projecten. Je stelt procedures en documentatie op voor je collega’s die je helpen bij de ondersteuning van ervan.
Je blijft op de hoogte van de technologische evolutie in de eigen specialisaties en op vlak van mediatechnologie door middel van opleiding en zelfstudie.
Je duikt mee in technologische oplossingen die Unreal Engine implementeren in productie-omgevingen
Je geeft objectief advies op gerichte technische vragen van productie, technologie afdelingen op VRT en leveranciers.
Ontwikkel jij de tv-studio van de toekomst?
Je hebt ervaring met Game-engine technologie (Unreal Engine)
Je hebt ervaring met het ontwikkelen in C++ en Blueprinting in Unreal (nDisplay)
Je hebt ervaring met Unit en Integratie testen
Je hebt kennis van netwerkcommunicatie op verschillende lagen
Je kan out-of-the box denken om innovatieve oplossingen mee te implementeren
Je wil je kennis gebruiken om oplossingen te bedenken voor broadcast-omgevingen
Kennis van tracking, camerasystemen is mooi meegenomen
Je focust voortdurend op de kwaliteit van je werk en voert de nodige testen uit. Je hebt een groot verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel. Je gaat nauwgezet te werk, volgt bugs en features op
