As a Maintenance Technician, you ensure that preventive and corrective maintenance work is carried out on cleanrooms, various aseptic line equipment (including process equipment, clean utilities, black utilities and other equipment) and other internal equipment in compliance with GMP requirements.
Responsibilities- You ensure that maintenance plans are properly implemented and that any necessary corrective work is carried out.
- You participate in the drafting of instructions for use, qualification, cleaning and maintenance of aseptic line equipment and other in-house equipment.
- You diagnose and resolve problems using structured methods (8D – A3) to increase equipment availability rates. You contact service providers for unresolved corrective operations.
- You ensure optimum operation of HVAC systems in cleanrooms.
- Carry out and coordinate all activities required to maintain cleanroom compliance with regulatory requirements.
- You ensure that the clean utilities and black utilities are operating correctly, and coordinate maintenance work where necessary.
- You draw up maintenance reports and update the maintenance database.
- You propose technical solutions for optimizing equipment maintenance.
- You set up and adjust aseptic line process equipment format parts.
- You guarantee compliance with GMP rules and HSE standards in the maintenance process, and ensure traceability of all interventions.
- You have a Bachelor's degree in electromechanics and automation, or equivalent experience.
- You have proven experience in pharmaceutical production maintenance, with expertise in cleanrooms, clean utilities, black utilities and sterility concepts.
- You have a good knowledge of HVAC engineering and experience of mechanical fittings.
- You are comfortable reading drawings (mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and P&ID).
- You have experience of the principles of qualification and validation of pharmaceutical equipment.
- You have a good command of spoken and written English.
- You have experience in risk assessment using the FMEA methodology.
- You are familiar with GMP rules and are able to work in clean rooms.
- You are able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- You are rigorous and precise in your work. You have an analytical and critical mind.
- You are a good communicator and a team player.
- You are results-oriented and able to work independently.
