We are currently working with a research focused organisation in the battery technology sector that is seeking a senior Technical Advocacy profile to drive technical engagement and policy influence across Europe.
The Role
This position will play a central role within the organisation with the development and delivery technical advocacy campaigns that highlight scientific advancements and industry innovations for one of Europe (and the world's most crucial sector. The position will interact closely with industry stakeholders, public affairs teams, and partner organizations
Key Missions:
- Advocate for battery technology as a key enabler of EU decarbonization and industrial policies.
- Engage with policymakers and industry leaders to promote the benefits of advanced batteries.
- Monitor EU policy developments and provide strategic insights to stakeholders.
- Create high-impact scientific content, including reports, case studies, and digital materials.
- Represent the organisation at high-level meetings, ensuring strong engagement across the battery industry's value chain.
Your Profile
- Scientific Studying Background strongly preferred (or equivalent technical exposure) in natural sciences, chemistry, engineering..
- 5+ years of experience of EU experience in a position where you have been instrumental in the development and execution of advocacy strategies within a relatable industry (for instance: Automotive, Electronics, Chemicals, Metals etc..)
- Strong communication skills and ability to develop impactful policy strategies.
- Proven knowledge in relevant EU policy frameworks pertaining to Chemicals, Batteries and other adjacent field
