Finance Officer – 2-Year Contract (x2) Ghent, Belgium | Hybrid: 2–3 Days Onsite Are you a numbers‐driven problem solver who loves getting behind the data and challenging the story it tells? This is a rare chance to step into a high‐visibility Finance Officer role supporting large‐scale operations within a fast‐moving technical environment. Join a collaborative Operations organisation of 110 experts, working alongside Project Managers, FP&A, and internal stakeholders who rely on accurate, crystal‐clear financial insights. What You'll Be Doing Owning operational finance processes across multiple projects Ensuring budget accuracy, budget control, and variance analysis Keeping financial systems up to date and immaculate Overseeing PO creation, SOCs control, and monthly financial cycles Partnering with SMEs to review budgets and forecast progress Using tools like Oracle, Power BI, and Power Query to visualise data Challenging assumptions, improving processes, and maintaining financial integrity Working on assets/compounds with all stakeholders internally (vendor interactions handled elsewhere) What We're Looking For Finance education/training (e.g., FP&A, Controlling, Auditing) Experience reviewing budgets, interrogating numbers, and driving financial accuracy Critical thinker comfortable raising questions and challenging gaps Highly organised, structured, and consistent in follow‐through Proactive and communicative — not afraid to chase people for information Interest in science or technology environments (bonus) Not an AP background Planet Pharma is an equals opportunities Recruitment Business and Agency.
