Als Project Controller zal je verantwoordelijk zijn voor het controleren én challengen van de project kosten en omzet in eerste instantie, maar ook van de overhead kosten. Je stelt analyses en rapporten op en bespreekt deze kritisch met de betrokken partijen waar nodig om zo een efficiënte kostcontrole te verzekeren.
In deze functie als Project Controller fungeer je als waardevolle link tussen finance en de business. Het uitdagende takenpakket, de betrokkenheid in indrukwekkende projecten, de variatie, de leuke collega's... zorgen voor de job van je leven
Wij zijn momenteel op zoek naar een Senior Project Controller. Deze financiële analist zal zich deels focussen op project controlling, deels op overhead controlling.
Jouw toekomstig takenpakket als Project Controller in bullets:
- Je fungeert als financiële gesprekspartner voor de Project Managers.
- Je controleert de data-input in het ERP systeem (vnl. SAP) en beheert de cost centers.
- Je staat in voor de project controlling van heavy lifting projecten: in dialoog gaan met de diverse Project Managers, nakijken en opvolgen van de budgetten en facturatie, maken van WIP (Work In Progress) berekeningen.
- Je staat in voor de maandelijkse rapporteringen, zowel de opmaak als de vertaling van deze cijfers naar het Management toe.
- Je maakt een forecast en budget op van de overhead en project gerelateerde kosten voor de diverse departementen.
- Je werkt nieuwe processen en procedures uit in verband met bovenstaande taken en optimaliseert de reeds bestaande om alles zo efficiënt mogelijk te laten verlopen.
- Je maakt deel uit van het Project Team on site.
- In deze functie kom je terecht binnen het Project Team, maar maak je ook deel uit van het controlling team in ons hoofdkantoor te Wolvertem.
Wij zijn op zoek naar een cijfermatige analist met een sterk numeriek redeneervermogen. Je goochelt graag met cijfers en gaat graag op zoek naar de logische verbanden en inzichten achter de cijfers. Je werkt nauwkeurig en gestructureerd. Je detecteert problemen, maar denkt in oplossingen en weet deze ook tot de realiteit te brengen (sterke hands-on mentaliteit en vastberadenheid). Wanneer nodig, breng je de nodige assertiviteit en overtuigingskracht aan de dag in je contact met de (Project) Managers. Je bent een stressbestendige en pragmatische initiatiefnemer met een kritische blik die in staat is om processen en procedures op te stellen en te herdefiniëren.
- Master werk- en denkniveau (Bv. Handelswetenschappen, Handelsingenieur, TEW...)
- > 4 jaar ervaring in een gelijkaardige functie als Project Controller.
- Communicatief sterk: Nederlands of Engels = (zeer) goede kennis.
- Vlot met de computer: MS Office (in het bijzonder Excel) en idealiter een ERP systeem. Kennis van SAP, databases en BI tools zijn ook mooi meegenomen.

Als Financial Controller ben je een onmisbare schakel om de financiële doelstellingen van het bedrijf te behalen én te overstijgen. Enerzijds voer je operationeel werk uit, anderzijds krijg je de kans om processen en procedures op te stellen en te (her)definiëren.
