Orgalim is the trade association representing Europe’s technology industries. Our members are at the cutting edge of innovation and manufacture many of the products and technologies the world needs for the green and digital transitions. Orgalim’s team in Brussels is made up of over 30 people from 18 different nationalities. We work with members, stakeholders and policymakers to strengthen our industries’ growth and competitiveness, as well as their contribution to the European Union’s policy agenda. The Orgalim Communications and Events Department manages the day-to-day communications of the organisation. This includes, but is not limited to, managing the website and LinkedIn pages, managing member communications, running campaigns, organising internal and external events, running and promoting our webinars, promoting the speaking engagements of our DG and team members, and amplifying our organisation’s policy and advocacy work. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a dynamic team, in the heart of EU lobbying, at an exciting point of the legislative cycle. Key responsibilities: Work on the planning, drafting and roll out of member and stakeholder communications; Propose and create content for the association’s LinkedIn page and webpage; Track performance metrics, making proposals for growth and improvements; Support before, during and after events, including managing suppliers and researching speakers or moderators; Manage and update digital assets such as the website, Flickr, Benchmark and others; Write and distribute the association’s newsletter. Candidate qualities: Versatility to move between various tasks; A thorough approach, that takes projects from concept to completion; A specific interest in policy communications and how communications and events work as a form of EU advocacy; An ability to liaise effectively with a variety of people, from event suppliers to senior stakeholders; A cooperative and creative attitude, focussed on strengthening our combined communication, policy and partnership efforts.
