-Consultancy mission: freelance or employee -Duration : 6 mois - Start 12/01/2026 until 30/06/2026-Work location : 3 days Braine l'Alleud / 2 days remote -Pharmaceutical sector -Full time The Communication & Training Officer plays a key role in executing day-to-day communication and training initiatives within the Large Capital Projects Delivery (LCPD) organization. This position ensures that communication materials and training plans are consistently maintained, aligned with the overarching LCPD communication strategy, and effectively contributes to successful project delivery. The role reports directly to the Large Capital Projects Delivery Change Lead, who retains overall accountability for the communication and training strategy and its outcomes. Typical day & responsibilities : Communication Responsibilities: • Execute internal communication plans aligned with project milestones and stakeholder needs. • Act as the point of contact for communication activities within LCPD, ensuring alignment with the Projects Leads and Change Lead. • Draft and distribute communication materials such as newsletters articles, updates, and visual content (e.g., videos, presentations). • Support branding and visibility efforts for LCPD initiatives and events (e.g., Meet & Greet sessions). • Maintain up-to-date communication assets, including minutes from steering committees and internal forums and governances. • Assist in preparing content for internal forums and project-related events. • Adapt messages for different audiences and communication channels. • Propose and implement improvements to communication tools and practices to enhance clarity and engagement. • Coordinate with the Global Communication department to ensure consistency and compliance. • Track and report on the effectiveness of communication activities. Training Responsibilities: • Maintain and regularly update the LCPD training matrix to reflect current project needs. • Coordinate onboarding and continuous training for internal and external team members. • Act as Training Booster for the LCPD department by managing assignments via TalentShare and monitoring completion status, ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory standards. • Ensure training plans are in place, current, and aligned with project requirements. • Act as the point of contact for training-related questions and support needs. • Track training progress and propose KPIs to improve visibility and follow-up. • Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure training records are audit-ready and compliant. • Upload the approved training matrix monthly to the designated eDMS (Source CD). • Prepare and communicate training progress reports, including written and oral updates on KPIs. • Identify and escalate risks of training backlog, working with workstream leaders to resolve issues that may impact project milestones. • Archive training certificates and attendance records in accordance with applicable procedures and guidelines. Requirements : - English proficiency (excellent written and verbal as all communications will be in English). - French proficiency (the Braine site is mostly French-speaking). - Strong organizational and time-management skills. - Ability to coordinate multiple projects and work independently. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams). - Experience in internal communication and training coordination. - Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a matrix organization. Nice to have: - Pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry experience. - Familiarity with capital project environments. - Coaching and mentoring skills.
