For future large construction projects, we are looking for experienced Construction Managers in various disciplines: Buildings, Civil Works, Marine Works. This could be for Belgium, Europe, or other international projects around the world.
As a Construction Manager, you are responsible for the management, development, and planning of the construction works on site. You report directly to the Project Director.
You will coordinate and manage all site execution related tasks:
- Install and organize the construction site (logistics, materials, people);
- Act as the first link between Project Management and Technical Office Management;
- Lead, coach, and manage the site superintendent team;
- Direct work sequencing to expedite project delivery and minimize disruption of ongoing operations;
- Plan resources;
- Ensure that all QHSE procedures are correctly followed on site;
- Initiate and attend important site meetings;
- Hold a degree in construction engineering;
- Have at least 10 years of relevant working experience within a major construction company, preferably with large projects (buildings, civil works, or marine works);
- Possess an entrepreneurial mindset, show flexibility, be innovative and result-oriented while promoting teamwork;
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, an analytical mind, and be client-focused;
- Be fluent in English; other languages are an asset;
- Be willing to work and live abroad and indicate in your motivation letter your preferred working area.
