Our EU Advisory business is active across a wide range of Directorate General, our core business areas being in internal market and consumer policy, social policy, space and telecommunications, digital and transport, while we are growing practices specifically focused on green deal topics, trade and financial services. Our success relies on the excellence of our team, which we are now looking to strengthen with aSenior Consultant focusing on qualitative and quantitative policy research and analysis,with expertise in the field of downstream space. Your Key Responsibilities Contribute to the management and delivery of projects, leading the day-to-day activities and teams, Develop and Implement methodologies and deliver evidence-based outputs on time and to the satisfaction of our public policy clients Identify opportunities and contribute to the development of winning proposals Contribute to the development of the team by bringing fresh and innovative ideas Encourage collaboration and mutual learning across team members Contribute to the internal training programme and help to develop junior team members Contribute to the design and implementation of the team strategy Your Profile You have: Policy and/or market/economic consultancy, preferably connected to space, withminimum 3 years of relevant experience (a must) Strong economic analysis (cost-benefit analysis) and market assessment skills Management of project tasks and coaching of more junior staff Ability to support the coordination of project teams, including partners, experts, and internal teams Coordination of desk research campaigns and stakeholder consultations Ability to autonomously coordinate data analysis activities Problem-solving and proactive attitude The following requirements represent a plus: Sectoral expertise in upstream and downstream space policy, in particular connected to the markets and impacts components of the EU Space programme, namely Copernicus and the new Secure Satcom components (preferrable) and/or Galileo / EGNOS Familiarity in implementing and ideally supporting evaluations and impact assessments, for European clients, ideally including the European Commission (a plus) Experience in project management of simple projectsis welcome Experience in writing and winning competitive bids for public-sector clients Sectorial expertise in digital policy (artificial intelligence & digital industry, connectivity and telco, digital policy strategy and outreach, future networks, cloud and internet) is a plus What’s In It For You EY Family – you become part of the EY Family providing you with all the necessary skills, training and opportunities; enabling you to grow to your fullest potential.
