Edmac Europe is an ambitious customer-driven company, which sells components for compressors to customers from across the world. As part of an industry leader within this market, our aim is to be the one-stop-shop for all organizations who want to procure parts, consumables or lubricants for compressors and industrial utility rooms. Our customers are all small to medium-sized companies, located in over 60 countries.

To further support our growth, we are currently looking for a Business Development Officer.

Responsibilities:
  1. Search for growth opportunities in your region by increasing market share.
  2. Expand the product portfolio of existing customers.
  3. Acquire new customers.
  4. Convert leads into long-term cooperation.
  5. Support our customer centers in the further development of competitor service.
  6. Grow the Edmac ratio (=ratio of equivalent parts vs OEM parts) in your regions.
  7. Structure and develop the best-in-class customer experience.
  8. Create business plans for your region.
  9. Cold calling.
  10. Keep the CRM up to date (MoM, calls).
  11. In absence of colleagues, support in the back-up of quotes.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree and/or 2 to 5 years’ experience in a similar function.
  2. Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
  3. Knowledge of English is necessary.

This is a hybrid sales role where both 'hunting' and 'consultative selling' as well as a good ability to explain the product is a decisive factor. In addition to a passion for sales, you also possess analytical and creative skills that allow you to help customers effectively and continuously. Present and demonstrate the value of the product to potential customers. Compile and analyze data to identify trends. Respectfully work with the internal sales officers who support you in the region.
