Business Analyst – Brussels – Freelance (12 months+)We are seeking a Business Analyst to support a leading European energy market organisation in the evolution and oversight of their systems.This role offers 2 days working from home per week.Responsibilities:• Lead the translation of regulatory and stakeholder needs into clear, implementable platform requirements.• Assess compliance and functional gaps and define improvement actions.• Define and manage business requirements, user stories, and change initiatives.• Maintain documentation and roadmaps supporting platform development.• Work closely with delivery partners to align solutions with business expectations.• Validate designs, specifications, and test outcomes against agreed requirements.• Support delivery, testing, and stakeholder decision-making across projects.Skills Required:• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst within the energy sector.• Strong background in regulatory-driven IT platforms and change management.• Demonstrated experience with gap analysis and requirements engineering.• Knowledge of BPMN, UML, XML-based data models, and SDLC best practices.• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.Details:• Contract type: Freelance – 12 months+• Start date: ASAP• Location: Brussels / hybridIf you wish to be considered for the position available, please e-mail an up-to-date CV with a contact number to Charles.weston@vividresourcing.com or call +32 (0)3 318 82 30.Please feel free to share this opportunity with relevant contacts.
