Now, we're looking for a Video Editor who also thrives on set—someone who not only cuts and refines stories but is also ready to step into production, ensuring that every shot captured is top-notch for the edit.

Your Role

As an Editor & Production Assistant at GANG, you'll primarily be behind the screen, shaping compelling visual stories through thoughtful editing. At times, you'll step behind the camera, playing an active role in the production process to ensure we capture the best possible footage. Your work will be pivotal in bringing creative ideas to life—from raw footage to polished content that resonates.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Editing high-quality videos for digital, social, and commercial platforms.
  • Ensuring a strong narrative flow through pacing, rhythm, and shot selection.
  • Assisting on productions—helping on set, supporting the director and producer, and making sure every shot is well-composed and properly captured for the edit.
  • Collaborating closely with Directors, Producers, and Cinematographers to bridge the gap between production and post-production.
  • Reviewing raw footage on set to anticipate post-production needs and flagging potential issues early.
  • Managing assets and workflow efficiently from shoot to edit, ensuring a smooth transition between production and post.
  • Providing input on cinematography and lighting to enhance storytelling through visuals.

What We're Looking For

  • A sharp, creative video editor with an eye for detail and storytelling.
  • A production-savvy individual who understands framing, composition, and lighting.
  • Experience working on set—comfortable handling cameras, setting up shots, or assisting the crew.
  • An ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
  • A proactive mindset—you spot potential issues before they arise and find solutions.
  • Comfortable with client feedback and multiple rounds of revisions.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle assets and manage workflows efficiently.
  • Fluent in English (French/Dutch is a plus).

Bonus Points

  • Experience operating a camera or assisting DOPs.
  • Basic knowledge of color correction, sound design, or motion graphics.
  • Passion for generative AI in video editing and production—staying ahead of the latest advancements and how they can be leveraged creatively.
