De Brugse fabriek (Genencor International BV) bevindt zich in het centrum van de historische stad, en behoort tot de divisie IFF Health & Biosciences (H&B), een innovatieve marktleider in industriële biotechnologie en een baanbrekende ontwikkelaar van enzymtechnologie en bioproducten. De fabrieken van de H&B-divisie produceren enzymen en andere bioproducten voor industrieën zoals de was- en textielindustrie, de voedingsindustrie en als versterkers in diervoeding.
Om onze groei te ondersteunen zoeken wij een Manufacturing Technology Engineer
Als deel van het Process Development team ga je continu op zoek naar mogelijke verbeteringen in onze productie-afdeling en ondersteun je de manufacturing technology leader bij het onderzoeken, het uitschrijven & implementeren van verbeteringsprojecten. Hiernaast ligt de focus in deze rol voornamelijk om continu het productieproces op te volgen alsook support aan operators te bieden.
Jouw Rol:
- Opvolgen van onze productieprocessen om de rendementen, de kost en het energieverbruik te optimaliseren.
- Doelstellingen definiëren (productiekost, capaciteit, kwaliteit, …) en de nodige parameters hiervoor verwerken in het ERP systeem.
- Vanuit je verworven inzichten (zowel vanuit je aanwezigheid binnen productie als via data-analyse) formuleer je verbeteringsvoorstellen. Je bouwt hiervoor een business-case op zodat de diverse stakeholders over voldoende informatie beschikken voor hun besluitvormingsproces.
- Je bent nauw betrokken bij R&D-projecten, waarbij je deze aftoetst aan de productie op grote schaal. Je onderhoudt in deze rol proactief contact met collega's binnen andere productielocaties.
- Actief meewerken aan het uitbouwen van onze (voedsel/milieu-)veiligheidscultuur.
Jouw Profiel:
- Je genoot een opleiding als bio-ingenieur, ingenieur industriële wetenschappen of burgerlijk ingenieur met proceservaring.
- Je bent analytisch sterk en kan vlot data verwerken.
- Kennis & ervaring inzake projectmanagement.
- Passie voor continue verbeteren en probleem oplossende mindset.
- In een matrixorganisatie werk je zelfstandig, doch aligneer je jouw handelen continu met de site-doelen.
- Je helpt mee onze veiligheidscultuur (voedsel-, milieu-, veiligheid) te versterken.
- Je hebt een sterke interesse voor automatisering en procescontrole.
- Ervaring met fermentatietechnologie is een pluspunt.
- Naast de Nederlandse taal beheers je het Engels (geschreven & gesproken).
