BiogasTec ontwikkelt een innovatieve technologie om biogas op te zuiveren tot aardgaskwaliteit (biogasupgrading tot biomethaan). Ons doel? Deze technologie internationaal inzetten en zo de groei richting een duurzamer energiesysteem versnellen. Als Business Development Manager speel jij een sleutelrol in marktontwikkeling van deze technologie en daarmee de verdere groei van BiogasTec.
Je hebt een veelzijdige functie waarin je verantwoordelijk bent voor de commerciële uitbouw en strategische positionering van de biogasupgrading van BiogasTec binnen de internationale markt. De klanten die we voor ogen hebben zijn ontwikkelaars of uitbaters van biogasinstallaties. Daarnaast sta je in voor de uitbouw van een klantenportefeuille voor de verkoop van biomethaan. Concreet houdt dit in:
Marktontwikkeling & Branding
Uitvoeren van marktonderzoek naar potentiële groeimarkten (o.a. Polen, Denemarken, Spanje, Italië).
Identificeren en benaderen van nieuwe klanten en samenwerkingspartners.
Opzetten en uitvoeren van branding- en marketingstrategieën.
PR en online zichtbaarheid versterken, waaronder de website en andere kanalen.
Deelnemen aan relevante beurzen en evenementen voor BiogasTec.
Projectopvolging & Accountmanagement
Volgen van ontwikkelingen in wetgeving en beleid omtrent biomethaan, wat je dan meeneemt naar jouw commerciële strategie. Hierbij wordt je bijgestaan door een expert binnen het bedrijf.
Betrokken blijven bij de uitvoering van projecten van conceptfase tot uitvoering, waarbij je het aanspreekpunt voor de klant bent.
Opbouwen en onderhouden van relaties met klanten en stakeholders in de sector.
Sales & Netwerkuitbreiding voor het verhandelen van biomethaan
Opbouwen van een netwerk van bedrijven die hun energieverbruik willen verduurzamen door het inzetten van biomethaan.
In samenwerking met onze CEO een commerciële strategie uitwerken waardoor je biomethaan succesvol in de markt zet.
Onderhandelen over contracten en samenwerkingsverbanden.
- Je behaalde succesvol een masterdiploma in de ingenieurswetenschappen.
- Je hebt een achtergrond in business development of sales in de energiesector- of duurzame technologiesector.
- Je bent een netwerker pur sang en weet hoe je nieuwe markten en klanten aanboort.
- Strategisch inzicht en een ondernemende mindset kenmerken jou. Je kan omgaan met de grote mate van zelfstandigheid die je krijgt om deze functie uit te voeren.
- Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands en Engels, extra talen zijn een voordeel.
- Bereidheid om internationaal te reizen voor marktonderzoek en beurzen.

Je werkt in een mooi gebouw te Gentbrugge, naast de Schelde, waardoor je tijdens pauzemomenten kan wandelen of sporten in een groene omgeving, dichtbij Gent centrum. Tot slot voorzien we dagelijks vers fruit en soep, bereid in onze eigen keuken.
