Then adesso is the right place for you Start date: January 2026 Your role In this role, you will combine strategy with execution. You will help to put our proposition on the map, motivate customers, lead projects, and build your own Software Engineering team. You are both a visionary and a doer: from architecture and code reviews to implementation and deployment. Build and expand the software development team within adesso Belgium, support new customer acquisition, actively share knowledge within the team, and contribute to team growth. Introduce new ideas and best practices and use state-of-the-art technology to develop robust and scalable solutions. Work with sales to identify opportunities and translate customer challenges into a well-founded technical solution and plan of action. Design and implement cloud-native applications with Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot, and ensure stable and secure integration with other systems. Set up modern CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Kubernetes, and ensure high quality through test automation and monitoring. Develop front-end components in Angular that connect to backend services and contribute to an optimal user experience. Present your solutions to customers and stakeholders, process feedback, and defend well-founded technical choices. Work closely with developers, designers, and architects, take responsibility for the final delivery quality, and ensure the optimal balance between customer requirements and resources. Required Skills & Knowledge Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, Angular, among others. Your profile You have a strong passion for building high-quality digital solutions and the ability to convince both customers and colleagues. You have extensive experience in Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and Angular. You have knowledge of modern software architectures (microservices, event-driven, cloud-native). Proficiency with CI/CD, version control (Git), test automation, and monitoring tools. You have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field, along with at least 7 years of relevant professional or project experience. Experience in a lead or senior role, with proven success in guiding teams and projects. Your native language is Dutch and/or French; you are fluent in English.
