Now, we're looking for a versatile Illustrator & Motion Designer—someone who can bring ideas to life through striking illustrations and engaging motion design, helping brands tell their stories with a distinct and creative visual language.

Your Role

As a Creative Illustrator & Motion Designer at GANG, you'll be responsible for conceptualizing and crafting striking illustrations that come to life through motion. From social campaigns and explainer animations to brand identities and interactive experiences, you'll play a key role in shaping bold, fluid, and captivating visual stories that grab attention and resonate with audiences.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Illustrating characters, environments, and graphic elements to be used in animation or as standalone brand assets.
  • Animating your own illustrations to create dynamic motion graphics for digital content, social media, brand films, and beyond.
  • Crafting unique visual styles and concept art that define and enhance the storytelling of each project.
  • Collaborating closely with creative teams (editors, designers, art directors, producers) to ensure smooth transitions from static to animated assets.
  • Engaging with clients to understand their needs, translate briefings into strong concepts, and collaboratively present well-crafted, relevant ideas alongside the producer and copywriter.
  • Bringing life to ideas through motion, composition, and fluid storytelling.
  • Adapting to different client styles while keeping a high standard of creativity and originality.
  • Experimenting with new techniques to push boundaries in animation and illustration.
  • Keeping up with the latest trends in visual storytelling, illustration, animation, and generative AI.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong illustration skills—you can create compelling characters, environments, and graphic elements.
  • Motion design expertise—you know how to bring your illustrations to life through animation.
  • A unique visual style that can adapt to different brands and industries.
  • Ability to create storyboards and animatics to guide motion projects.
  • A strong sense of timing, movement, and composition in animation.
  • Experience working with animation software (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other relevant tools).
  • Attention to detail and craftsmanship—you don't settle for mediocre visuals.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Fluent in English (French/Dutch is a plus).

Bonus Points

  • Experience with frame-by-frame animation or 2D character animation.
  • Passion for generative AI in illustration and motion design—curious about how new tools can enhance creativity.
  • Basic knowledge of 3D animation (Cinema 4D, Blender, or Unreal Engine).
  • Experience in designing for interactive experiences or immersive content.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced creative environment.
