SAP ABAP Developer – Freelance (Brussels, Belgium) For a customer within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector, we are looking for an SAP ABAP Developer to join on a long-term freelance basis.The customer operates across multiple manufacturing and research sites in Belgium and abroad and is currently modernising its SAP environment as part of a wider digital transformation initiative. The program aims to streamline data flows, harmonise processes, and strengthen the integration between manufacturing, supply chain, and finance functions.The role focuses on delivering high-quality technical developments, supporting system integrations, and contributing to continuous improvement projects within the SAP landscape.If interested, apply with your CV attached Key Responsibilities:Develop, test, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP, ABAP OO, CDS Views, and other SAP development tools.Support SAP transformation projects, including S/4HANA migration and process optimisation initiatives.Ensure compliance with development standards, performance optimisation, and documentation best practices.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in coordination with functional analysts and external partners.Participate in testing, code reviews, and user acceptance activities.Requirements:Minimum 3–5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.Hands-on experience with S/4HANA (CDS Views, OData, Fiori integration a strong plus).Experience with integration technologies (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData services, etc.).Additional DetailsSTART DATE: ASAPDURATION: 12 MonthsCONTRACT: FreelanceLOCATION: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid)ONSITE POLICY: 2–3 days per week on-siteHOURS PER WEEK: 40LANGUAGES: English (Dutch or French a plus)INTERVIEW PROCESS: 1 Stage
