Join our FInsights department as a Junior Sales Engineer and play a key role in understanding and solving the strategic data challenges of our future clients.
In this role, you will combine your analytical skills with your commercial sense to:
- Identify, in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams, new business opportunities through market research and a proactive approach to potential customers.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the challenges and weaknesses of the reporting systems of the companies you target.
- Advise senior decision-makers (C-level) by proposing concrete solutions tailored to their needs.
- Adopt a ‘solution selling’ approach, thinking in depth and adding value by highlighting the advantages of our solution.
Spoom , our reporting and data visualisation solution, is designed to bring real added value to our customers. Thanks to its advanced, standardised analysis functions, it enables:
- Faster, more informed strategic decision-making.

After undergoing intensive training at our Sales School and accompanying one of our Seniors in the field during sales meetings, your job will be to take charge of the entire sales cycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Prospecting: Actively identify potential customers and establish direct contact. Be constantly on the lookout for new opportunities.
- Qualifying needs: Ask relevant questions, listen actively and build customised, value-added solutions in line with the prospect's needs.
- Personalised demonstration: Present the solution in detail to decision-makers and tailor the presentation to their specific questions and needs.
- Negotiation: Discuss the strategy to be adopted and your room for manoeuvre internally. If negotiations are necessary, conduct them independently with the potential customer.
- Signing the contract: Celebrate success when the prospect officially becomes your customer.
- Start-up follow-up: Maintain constant contact with Easi's Data4Decisions (D4D) project managers to monitor the quality of sales and facilitate a smooth handover to consultants.
- Work closely with all technical and business colleagues to achieve sales targets.
- Proactively manage a portfolio of customers, closely monitoring their needs and proposing appropriate solutions.
- Achieve half-yearly targets, both personally and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in management, business or economics.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Excellent listening skills to understand specific customer challenges.
- An ability to establish a relationship of trust with high-level decision-makers.
- A willingness to learn and take on stimulating challenges in a dynamic environment.
- Previous sales experience is an advantage, but it's your attitude and ambition that will make the difference
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English: fluency in at least one language in addition to French would be an asset.
