Regional Business Development Senior Manager – Northern Europe & Growth Markets Join to apply for the Regional Business Development Senior Manager – Northern Europe & Growth Markets role at Resmed Let’s talk about the role This role drives sustainable, multi‑year growth across Northern Europe & Growth Markets (NE&GM) by identifying, validating, and scaling new revenue pathways while strengthening core categories. Identify, validate, and scale new revenue pathways (markets, channels, partnerships, solutions) to support long‑term business objectives. Blend market development, commercial execution, and business development—scanning for strategic partnerships and M&A targets—to convert priority opportunities into recurring revenue streams in partnership with local country teams and functional leaders. Align initiatives with NE&GM’s strategic direction, ensuring competitive positioning and long‑term growth. Responsibilities Growth strategy & market development: Build and maintain a 3‑year growth thesis covering market entries/expansions, alternative channels, and portfolio bets in line with overall strategy; refresh quarterly with data‑backed hypothesis tests. Size and prioritize whitespace opportunities; recommend go‑to‑market model, ramp plan, and investment priorities for each market. Support development and coordination of cross‑functional business cases across Commercial, Product, Marketing, Finance, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Legal functions, tracking time to first revenue and breakeven. Partnerships, channels, and M&A scanning: Identify and structure strategic partnerships (e.g., telemedicine, diagnostics, pharmacies); maintain a watchlist for acquisition or alliance opportunities and coordinate with Strategy & Corporate Development. Commercial execution & pipeline management: Govern distributor selection, onboarding, and performance standards in partnership with country GMs/BD leads; standardise scorecards and improvement plans; manage reporting and tracking of the new business pipeline. Leadership & stakeholder influence: Operate as a regional integrator across countries and functions; lead through influence across virtual and cross‑functional teams; coach local sales teams on opportunity qualification and partner management. Drive cross‑functional project execution by guiding local revenue leadership teams in opportunity qualification, business case development, and overseeing partner projects to delivery. Engage senior executives and external stakeholders on high‑visibility initiatives; influence decisions on resource allocation and policy where required. Qualifications & Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or related field with 8+ years relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 5+ years relevant experience. 5–8 years progressive experience in Business Development or Commercial roles with regional/multi‑country scope. Demonstrated success launching new markets/channels and converting BD programs into material revenue. Expertise in partnership, distributor, and channel management and complex enterprise deals. Strong financial acumen (opportunity sizing, investment cases, unit economics). High emotional intelligence and executive presence, capable of influencing cross‑functionally and across cultures. Willingness to travel across NE&GM (≈20 %). Preferred MBA. Experience in Medical Devices/Healthcare, preferably in sleep & respiratory care and digital health ecosystems. Exposure to M&A/alliances (sourcing, commercial diligence, integration handover). Multilingual capabilities across NE&GM markets.
