We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to lead critical regulatory and compliance initiatives at a leading technology-driven HFT organization based in London or within Europe. This role is ideal for a self-sufficient, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. You will drive compliance projects across multiple regions and asset classes while ensuring adherence to global trading regulations. What You’ll Do Lead major compliance initiatives, including regulatory implementations, market access integrations, and control enhancements Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics Manage cross-functional teams, timelines, and stakeholder expectations to ensure timely execution Trading & Regulatory Compliance Management Own compliance responsibilities for assigned jurisdictions and regulatory areas Apply regulatory expertise to algorithmic, electronic, and high-frequency trading operations Regulation Experience in: (MiFID II/MiFIR, MAR, EMIR) or (SEC Rule 15c3-5, Reg NMS, Reg SHO, FINRA rules/ equivalents) Regulatory Reporting & Oversight Oversee transaction reporting (e.g., CAT, TRACE, MiFID II), position reporting, and large trade notifications Manage regulatory filings, capital calculations, and examinations Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of regulatory communications Stakeholder Management Act as primary compliance point of contact for business areas and initiatives Present project updates, regulatory metrics, and risk assessments to internal stakeholders Participate in external regulatory examinations and industry forums as required Who You Are Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Economics, or related field (Master’s or JD preferred) Relevant certifications are a plus 6–9+ years of financial services compliance experience, including at least 2-3 years in electronic or algorithmic trading Strong project management and analytical skills with the ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to influence stakeholders Ideal Candidate Experience at a proprietary or high-frequency trading firm Understanding of trading strategies and associated regulatory implications Familiarity with trading compliance systems and regulatory reporting tools Demonstrated leadership in global regulatory change projects #J-18808-Ljbffr
