We're working with a leading financial organisation in Brussels, looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to strengthen its growing engineering team. You will play a key role in improving the technical vision of a large-scale, business-critical platform used across the company. You are someone who feels equally at home architecting complex Java services as you do creating interfaces with React and TypeScript. You should enjoy combining strong technical ownership with thoughtful leadership, helping guide a team while still being deeply involved in hands-on development. Responsibilities Lead the development of complex backend services in Java. Build and maintain front-end components using React and TypeScript. Provide technical leadership within the team, helping shape architecture and coding standards. Work with stakeholders across engineering, product, and business units to align technical decisions with business goals. Mentor junior developers and contribute to a supportive engineering culture. Ensure performance and scalability across the full stack of the application. Your Profile Deep experience with Java in a production environment. Strong front-end skills in React and TypeScript. Proven track record working on large, complex systems. Comfortable taking ownership of technical decisions and guiding others when needed. A natural collaborator who communicates clearly and values teamwork. Knowledge of financial systems or regulated environments is a plus, but not required. The Offer Up to €7.5k for particularly experienced candidates. Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning. A supportive engineering culture that values autonomy and teamwork. The chance to influence the technical direction of a core platform used throughout the organisation. This role suits someone who enjoys making an impact technically, structurally, and culturally within a mature and forward-thinking organisation.
