Business Development Manager – Life Sciences (Europe)A global manufacturer of high-purity chemicals is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across Europe within the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device markets.This is a remote, field-based role and represents a rare opportunity to be one of the first commercial hires in Europe, with responsibility for developing key accounts and opening new business for a premium, sustainability-focused product portfolio.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and grow direct and distributor sales across EuropeManage and expand relationships with pharma, biotech, and CDMO customersDrive new business for high-purity solvents, reagents, buffer solutions, and bulk liquidsBuild a strong opportunity pipeline and manage strategic accountsWork cross-functionally with product, operations, and global commercial teamsBackground4+ years' experience in technical sales or business development within pharma or biotechCurrently selling into large-molecule / biologics customers, including biotech and biopharma organisationsProven experience selling high purity solvents, buffers, sodium hydroxide or bioprocess solutionsComfortable with a technical, consultative sales approachBased in Germany, Belgium, or the NetherlandsWilling to travel (25–50%)This role suits a commercially driven professional who enjoys autonomy, building markets, and representing a high-quality, differentiated product range.
