We are seeking a Data Engineering Specialist with strong expertise in Microsoft Technologies to join our expert team and contribute to a large-scale data engineering transformation in Belgium. Your Role As a Data Engineering Specialist, you will design, implement, and optimize Azure-based cloud data solutions that empower our clients to unlock the full potential of their data. You'll work alongside data scientists, architects, and analysts to build scalable data pipelines, lakehouse architectures, and analytics-ready environments using PySpark, Azure Databricks, and modern cloud tools. Required Skills and Qualifications Design and develop Azure-native data solutions leveraging Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, and Databricks Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark and SQL Ensure data quality, lineage, and reliability through automated testing and monitoring frameworks Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end data products that support analytics and AI initiatives Design and optimize data lakehouse models using Azure Synapse and Delta Lake Integrate and process large-scale datasets across hybrid environments Apply best practices for performance, scalability, and security in cloud architectures Stay up to date with emerging trends in Azure, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric Explore new approaches for automation, governance, and efficiency in data engineering Lead or support data engineering projects from concept to production Partner with business and technical stakeholders to deliver measurable business value Preferred Skills Microsoft Fabric certification or hands-on experience with Fabric (OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI) Experience with Power BI or Tableau Familiarity with streaming data frameworks (Kafka, Event Hub) Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP) What You'll Do Design and develop Azure-native data solutions leveraging Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, and Databricks Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark and SQL Ensure data quality, lineage, and reliability through automated testing and monitoring frameworks Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end data products that support analytics and AI initiatives Design and optimize data lakehouse models using Azure Synapse and Delta Lake Integrate and process large-scale datasets across hybrid environments Apply best practices for performance, scalability, and security in cloud architectures Stay up to date with emerging trends in Azure, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric Explore new approaches for automation, governance, and efficiency in data engineering Lead or support data engineering projects from concept to production Partner with business and technical stakeholders to deliver measurable business value Why Join Us?
