Sluit je aan bij ons team en maak jouw toekomst Doel van de functie Als Assistant Quality Officer ondersteun je activiteiten inzake veiligheid, kwaliteit, milieu en beveiliging in de afdeling en in de operaties op kaaien. Ook geef je ondersteuning in audits, monitor je en heb je een adviserende rol voor alle operationele activiteiten met betrekking tot kwaliteit en bewustzijn inzake veiligheid, milieu en beveiliging, dit in samenspraak met de QO (Quality Officer) en de QM (Quality Manager OPS). Het kwaliteit-, veiligheid- en milieumanagement systeem samen ondersteunen met alle medewerkers. Taakomschrijving Quality Control Je biedt ondersteuning bij audits en monitoring op het vlak van kwaliteit, veiligheid en milieu binnen de volledige terminaloperaties. Binnen het bestaande kwaliteitskader treed je op als expert ter zake, met grondige kennis van de geldende SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures). Je ondersteunt de implementatie van deze procedures en begeleidt operationele medewerkers hierbij, waarbij je eveneens gebruikmaakt van de VIK’s (Veiligheidsinstructiekaarten) om veiligheid en naleving te garanderen. Veiligheid Je beschikt over een grondige kennis van de veiligheidsvoorschriften en de risico’s die inherent zijn aan het vak, en geeft hierover toelichting aan de hand van VIK’s (Veiligheidsinstructiekaarten) en SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures). Daarnaast audit en adviseer je over veiligheid en havenveiligheid. Je bewaakt de resultaten van deze audits en maakt ze visueel inzichtelijk om gerichte acties mogelijk te maken. Communicatie Je overlegt en communiceert dagelijks met het eigen management en de QO/QM over de te nemen acties, de opvolging en uitvoering ervan. Het Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) principe maakt integraal deel uit van je dagelijkse activiteiten, wat blijkt uit het aantal ingediende verbeteringsvoorstellen en de visualisatie van auditresultaten.
