Freelance Industrial Automation Project Manager

For a global customer in Brussels, I am searching for a freelance Project Manager to lead several projects focusing on process automation for energy production. Responsibilities Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals. Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials. Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued. Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract. Profile A degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Over 5 years of experience in Project Management, preferably in the chemical industry, energy or pharma domain with a strong focus on Process Automation. Experience working for a major automation vendor is a bonus but not a hard requirement. Proven ability to manage project scope, budgets, timelines, and coordination with vendors/subcontractors. Fluent in French, Dutch and English, both spoken and written. Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills. A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
