Description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead the successful replacement and upgrade of critical automation systems in the pharmaceutical industry. This role will focus on team leadership, stakeholder management, and ensuring that the project progresses smoothly and in line with business objectives. You will act as a key point of contact between business owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams, ensuring the project remains on track and within scope, all while managing the key aspects of reporting, planning, and organization. This position is ideal for someone who has a proven ability to manage complex projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and navigate the different phases of a project with strong communication and organizational skills. Experience within the pharmaceutical industry is preferred, but we are primarily looking for someone with excellent project management experience (especially with Prince2 or PMI qualifications) who is capable of leading teams in a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and guide cross-functional project teams, ensuring alignment on project goals and timelines. Act as the central point of communication, regularly reporting on project status, risks, and issues to business owners and key stakeholders. Oversee the development and delivery of project documentation and presentations (slides, progress reports, etc.) in a clear, concise, and non-technical manner. Coordinate with external vendors and internal teams, ensuring all project activities align with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Manage project risks, issues, and changes with a proactive and solution-oriented approach. Support the testing, validation, and commissioning activities, ensuring the successful deployment and stability of the project outcome. Drive and maintain timelines using Prince2 or PMI project management methodologies. Candidate Requirements Essential Experience & Skills: At least 5 years of experience managing large-scale projects in a regulated environment (preferably in pharma or similar sectors). Experience in Automation (Siemens, TLC, SCADA) is preferrable. Proven experience leading and motivating diverse teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all levels. Strong ability to manage project delivery using Prince2 or PMI methodologies. Solid experience in stakeholder management, ensuring business owners and key stakeholders are kept informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle. Pharma industry experience is a strong advantage, particularly in areas related to validation, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing operations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (ability to create and deliver clear presentations, reports, and updates). Fluency in English; French language skills are a bonus. Desirable Skills: Experience with Pharmaceutical CSV (Computer Software Validation) processes and regulations is a bonus. Experience in automation or manufacturing projects is advantageous, though not essential. A background in IT OR Automation project management within the pharmaceutical industry is also a plus.
