Join us on this remarkable journey and become a valued member of the NORRIQ family—connected for life The Opportunity NORRIQ FS is seeking a Senior/Medior Data Scientist to drive our data analytics and machine learning initiatives while delivering innovative solutions to our financial services clients. Roles & Responsibilities Client-Facing Responsibilities: Design and implement machine learning solutions for complex business problems Conduct exploratory data analysis and create insightful visualizations Develop and maintain data pipelines for model deployment Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions Provide technical guidance on data science best practices Technical Responsibilities: Develop and maintain ML models using scikit-learn and other Python libraries Implement version control for both code and data using GitLab and DVC Create and maintain Jupyter notebooks for analysis and documentation Ensure reproducibility of data science workflows Optimize existing models and data pipelines for improved performance Follow ML ops best practices for model deployment and monitoring Internal Contributions: Contribute to NORRIQ's data science expertise through knowledge sharing Participate in proposal writing and solution architecture Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance Stay current with latest developments in data science and ML Your Profile Experience : 2-6 years in the following areas: Professional experience as a data scientist or ML engineer Proven track record of implementing ML solutions in production Experience with financial services industry preferred Strong background in statistical analysis and machine learning Technical Skills Expert in Python programming and data science libraries Proficiency with scikit-learn, pandas, and numpy Experience with version control (GitLab) and DVC Strong knowledge of Jupyter Lab and notebook-based development Understanding of ML ops and deployment practices Experience with SQL and data manipulation Education: Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field Languages: Fluency in English, and Dutch or French, with at least passive knowledge of the other What NORRIQ Offers You Be part of a fast-growing, international organization with a unique and people-centered culture Enjoy a highly competitive compensation package, including a company car, iPhone, and additional allowances Access extensive training programs in Belgium and Denmark, focusing on both technical expertise and soft skills Work with a dynamic and diverse team of experienced professionals and young talent in a collaborative environment within the financial services sector Additional Information Seniority level: Associate Employment type: Full-time Job function: Engineering and Information Technology #J-18808-Ljbffr
