Smals realiseert innovatieve ICT-projecten in e-government en e-health voor instellingen uit de sociale zekerheid en de gezondheidszorg. 'ICT for society' is voor Smals meer dan een slogan: alle projecten hebben een positieve maatschappelijke impact. Zo bouwt Smals mee aan het portaal van de sociale zekerheid en het eHealth-platform. Grensverleggende projecten zijn ons werkterrein: Student@Work, Orgadon, digitalisering van medische voorschriften, raadpleging van de historiek van je loopbaan, snellere doorstroming van testresultaten naar je huisarts... Als IT-projectleider verzeker je de realisatie van maatschappelijk relevante ICT-projecten rekening houdend met de planning en de vereiste kwaliteit. Tevens verzorg je op een regelmatige basis de rapportering over de vooruitgang van de projecten en waak je over een goede communicatie tussen de verschillende betrokken partijen. Je volgt de activiteiten op en ziet toe op de goede organisatie van het werk binnen de afdeling (operationeel plan, processen en procedures). Daarnaast organiseer je het change-managementproces en ondersteun je de ontwikkeling en evolutie van de 'Best practices' binnen de afdeling. Je neemt een motiverende, adviserende en faciliterende rol aan ten aanzien van het management en de business units en werkt nauw met hen samen. Verder zorg je voor een goed people management waarbij je de betrokken medewerkers stimuleert, coördineert en motiveert tijdens de realisatie van de projecten. Je hebt een bachelor- of masterdiploma behaald, bij voorkeur in ICT, en beschikt over minimum 5 jaar ervaring in projectbeheer. Je hebt een goede kennis van analysetechnieken en methodologieën zoals Agile en Prince 2. Een technische background in de volgende technologieën is een troef: Java, JEE, Openshift, Rest Web Services, .Net… Je hebt verantwoordelijkheidszin en bent klant- en resultaatgericht. Je werkt georganiseerd, weet prioriteiten te stellen en slaagt erin de verschillende betrokken partijen van een project te coördineren. Je hebt uitstekende communicatievaardigheden en kan goed onderhandelen. Je hecht veel belang aan coaching en weet de teams betrokken bij de projecten te motiveren en te coördineren.
