We are looking for a (Senior) Specialist to further strengthen the SAP Enterprise Performance Management offering.
Apply your experiences in technology, finance and industry foresight to manage conversations on critical client issues with CFOs and executives.
As part of our Business Finance team, you assist our client in a wide range of projects in various industries from strategy definition to implementation by:
- Being an active team member in various client transformation projects, covering the full end-to-end, starting at the initial identification of the client’s problem statement and requirements, through to the final handover to the customer’s operational teams.
- Supporting the technical design and implementation of planning, budgeting, forecasting as well as management reporting and costing processes based on SAP solutions such as SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere and SAP BW for our clients.
- Acting as solution architect, being responsible for the technical design and implementation quality of the solution, as well as defining the integration with other SAP applications such as S/4HANA, BW, Datasphere, Group Reporting and non-SAP applications.
- Guiding discussions with our clients and translate functional requirements into a technical solution.
- Working agile in a Deloitte team, in close collaboration with experts in areas such as advanced Analytics, predictive modeling, Machine Learning, Robotics, AI, …
- Driving the in-house development of demos, proof of concepts and training material and other assets on different SAP EPM tools, on our own demo environments.
- Participating in the business development side of our practice by participating in client proposals, roadmaps and delivering state-of-the-art sales demos.
- Coaching and developing other team members, while being coached and developed by your peers and seniors.
- Proven knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud solution (SAC), with experience in end-to-end projects and ideally experience with SAC for planning, designing the solution architecture, building planning/reporting stories, designing and building of the data model, implementing data actions, defining integration with Datasphere, BW & S/4, use and enhancement of business content.
- Knowledge of one or more other SAP solutions for planning & reporting such as: SAP BPC embedded (BPC 10.x, BPC 11, BPC Optimized for S/4HANA), SAP BPC Standard (BPC 10.x, BPC 11), SAP BW on HANA or BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere is a plus.
- Good knowledge of finance, accounting and controlling, either through experience or education.
- Team player with highly inquisitive mindset and analytical skills.
- Very good communication skills in order to coach team members and engage in client discussions.
- Dynamic and pro-active attitude, looking to learn and grow, open to coaching.
- Strong knowledge in the areas of financial planning, budgeting & forecasting either through project experience or from operational roles.
- Knowledge of project management standards, i.e. methodologies, typical structure, deliverables and approach of a Financial Planning project.
The following qualifications are considered as a plus:
- Knowledge of SAP Finance modules such as SAP Central Finance, SAP FI, SAP CO.
- Data sciences languages such as R, Python, SQL.
- Management reporting standards (e.g. KPI definition, scorecards, etc.), costing standards (e.g. activity-based costing), Excel VBA and macros.
