**Power BI and Data Specialist**
**Level**:Mid/Senior

You will be responsible for **the development of internal
You will work with the Business Process Owners and the other members of the Data Warehouse team to analyze the reporting needs and translate these into visual & analytical solutions.** **Through iterative steps, you will work with the Business Process Owners and departments to set scope and priorities.
The ADB Safegate analytics area covers a **large business scope** including Finance, Production, Sales, HR, Marketing, Warehousing, Procurement, CRM etc. We opted to go for a cloud first strategy and have created a foundation with a state-of-the-art Microsoft Azure environment (data lakes, data bricks,...). The intention is to build further on this foundation.
**Main responsibilities**
- **Solution design analytics**
- Gather and define the business requirements from the business stakeholders and business process owners;
- Design the solution in line with the business requirements with the Data Warehouse team;
- Build the solution according to the overall agreed processes and guidelines;
- Track and steer project progress on agreed deliverables, timelines, and dependencies.
- **Power BI Application management**
- Organize the solution support according to agreed priorities;
- Make recommendations to the DWH manager to organize the continuous improvement of the solutions in your area;
- Keep track of new improvement opportunities in your area of responsibility and evaluate these together with your business contacts;
- Plan the releases of your solutions;
- Ensure validation and testing of all changes;
- Collaborate with external parties;
- Design, develop, and deploy business analytics dashboards;
- Define model with calculated columns, measures, calculated tables using DAX, clean and transform data with the Query Editor.

**Required qualifications & Skills**
- Completed University Degree
- 3-6 years of professional experience within the area of Power BI
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including programming experience in writing DAX queries
- Cherry on top:
- Azure experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience working with SAP or other ERP system in a (complex) multi-country, multi-BU environment
- Strong English communication skills - written and oral
- Identifies, collects, and analyzes the information needed to solve a problem effectively. Should analyze functional/non-functional requirements and seek clarifications for better understanding of requirements
