We sell flexographic imaging equipment, printing plates, consumables & related services, which enable graphic customization of a wide variety of packaging materials. Our award-winning KODAK FLEXCEL NX System allows for high-quality platemaking and our new KODAK FLEXCEL NX Ultra Solution expands on that with high-speed, solvent-free, and VOC-free platemaking capabilities.
**Position description**
We are hiring a **Business Intelligence & Data Analyst **to join our global IT organization based in Zaventem, Belgium. He/she will work closely with the different business functions and our external Power BI support & development partner to turn transactional data into information and knowledge that can be used to efficiently make business decisions. This position plays an essential role in the development and adoption of dashboards that visualize data to drive actionable insights, and reports to the Business Applications Manager - ERP & BI.
**Responsibilities**
- Analyze and challenge functional requirements, and participate in the development of business cases for process and IT system changes;
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from analysis to development & testing, until go-live and aftercare;
- Write clear and well-structured system specifications for change requests or new functionalities, and work with external developers to deliver these efficiently and effectively, with high quality;
- Validate new solution design proposals with IT Architecture & Security to ensure that they are in line with Miraclon’s enterprise architecture and security guidelines;
- Provide end user support for reports and dashboards, through the IT incident management process and tool;
- Report bugs and issues to our external support & development partner and follow through until resolution;
- Act as back-up for master data management operations.
**Education requirements**
- ** University degree** in Computer Science, Business Economics or similar;
- Fluent in **English** (both written and oral); other languages are a plus.
**Experience requirements**
- Experience with **data platforms **(preferably Microsoft Azure Synapse) and** Business Intelligence solutions** (preferably Microsoft Power BI);
- Broad knowledge of **business processes**, preferably from an international manufacturing or distribution environment;
- Knowledge of data analytics concepts and market trends;
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps would be a plus.
