Job Overview:
The IT Project and Application Management Service role involves leading and managing IT projects and overseeing the lifecycle of applications to ensure optimal performance, alignment with business goals, and seamless integration. This position focuses on project planning, stakeholder communication, and managing application updates and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Application Oversight: Manage the development, deployment, and maintenance of IT applications, ensuring they meet business needs and comply with organizational standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and external vendors, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Risk Management: Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure compliance with security and governance policies.
- Budget Management: Develop project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders, detailing project progress, issues, and resolutions.
- Application Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full application lifecycle, including updates, patches, and decommissioning.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices in IT service management and drive process improvements to enhance service delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in IT project management and application management roles.
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of application development, cloud technologies, and system integrations.
- Tools: Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project) and application monitoring platforms.
- Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks.
