Do you have an agreement with your university/school for a 6-month full-time internship starting in 2026?Our new opportunity could be just what you are looking forWe are "Manufacture Belge de Chocolats (MBC)" and we develop tasty, innovative & high-quality chocolates in the heart of Brussels.We are proud to produce for the Godiva brand, but we are also expanding into the Private Label market.Do you want to join a human-sized company with an international outlook and help spread our excellent chocolates around the world?Do not look any furtherYour future roleAs a Procurement Intern, you will lead or participate in sourcing activities for Manufacture Belge de Chocolats across various procurement categories, including Ingredients, Packaging, Indirect. You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal balance between quality, cost, and lead time, in accordance with the specifications provided by stakeholders.In this role, you will be assigned the following tasks:You will be responsible for sourcing for each sub-category and developing double sourcing strategies for key sub-categories.You will manage requests for quotation (RFQ) and requests for information (RFI) to create new opportunities, analyze these requests, and provide sourcing recommendations.You will support teams in indirect sourcing activities, including RFQs and pricing negotiations.You will proactively benchmark key suppliers for existing indirect sourcing.You will complement the activities of the Material Planner by ensuring on-time supply of ingredients and packaging.You will provide forecasting information to key suppliers in order to anticipate potential supply issues/constraints and improve partnership and information flow.You will act as the interface between suppliers and MBC teams, providing ongoing support to resolve supply issues.You will support other sourcing activities and projects (especially data collection, reporting, Procure-to-Pay processes, and cost reduction initiatives).You will back up team members as part of an entrepreneurial environment focused on team spiritYou will frequently interact with internal teams (R&D, Production, Marketing & Innovation, Quality, Supply Chain) and external partners (Suppliers).You will accompany our R&D, Marketing & Innovation and Production teams in the development of new products or projects.The profile we are looking for:You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's (preferred) Degree.A specialization in Procurement (Business School, Engineering School or equivalent) would be a plus.You have the ability to manage end-to-end Procurement projects.You are proficient in Microsoft Office.
