Wie is onze klant? Onze klant is een investeringsfonds dat middelgrote bedrijven helpt groeien door kapitaal én expertise te bieden. Ze nemen een actieve rol in hun participaties: van strategische keuzes tot operationele verbeteringen met een focus op duurzame waarde creatie op lange termijn. Het fonds richt zich op industrie en diensten, beheert een selectieve portefeuille. Wat ga je doen? Als Operations Investment Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor operationele waarde creatie binnen de participaties. Je vormt de brug tussen strategie en uitvoering en werkt actief mee aan het verhogen van EBITDA, cashflow en exit-waarde. Opstellen, implementeren en opvolgen van value creation plannen voor de participaties. On-site opportuniteiten en bottlenecks identificeren en oplossen; Leiden van operational excellence trajecten (efficiëntie, pricing, marges, processen, KPI’s). businesscases en investeringsanalyses opstellen en beoordelen op basis van meetbare financiële parameters (ROI). Meedenken bij potentiële overnames, kansen spotten, optimalisatiepotentieel inschatten. Fungeren als sparring partner en challenger voor de management teams. Bijdragen aan de equity story en de exit-readiness van participaties. Wie ben jij? Je combineert sterke operationele ervaring met financieel inzicht en denkt consequent in termen van waarde creatie. Je hebt een Masterdiploma, bij voorkeur in ingenieurswetenschappen (industrieel, handels- of burgerlijk ingenieur). Je hebt bewezen ervaring met verbeter- of transformatieprojecten in productie- of dienstensectoren. Je bent hands-on, pragmatisch, en communiceert transparant en to the point. Je bent een team-player. Je denkt als een ondernemer: ROI en performance zijn jouw drijfveren. Flexibel ingesteld: geen 9–5 mentaliteit, bereid om occasioneel te reizen naar participaties. Nice to have: ervaring in een PE-omgeving of zelf ondernemer geweest. Wat kan je verwachten? Een impactvolle rol in een kleine, wendbare organisatie met veel vrijheid. Cultuur: transparant en no-nonsense. Contract: voorkeur voor zelfstandige statuut, maar kan op payroll indien gewenst Locatie: flexibel, occasioneel reizen. Geïnteresseerd?
