Proposal Engineer Location: Belgium Duration 5 months Rate €450/day An exciting opportunity has opened with a long-established global industrial group developing cutting-edge technological solutions for energy, defence, mobility and the environment. Your Mission You'll be at the heart of shaping winning proposals by: Analysing specifications and identifying key technical points Assessing project risks and opportunities Conducting market studies and researching supply sources Coordinating technical, commercial, finance, quality and project teams to prepare complete bids Building technical and commercial proposals from scheduling to final approval Supporting teams during commercial and technical negotiations Maintaining contact with customers and partners Researching standardisation and developing alternative, competitive solutions Requirements Degree in engineering, marketing, business or similar Strong technical foundation to understand complex products Excellent command of French and English Good commercial, financial and legal understanding (contracts, risks, financing, etc.) Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Project Knowledge of SAP or Baan is an advantage Strong autonomy, judgement and sense of responsibility Ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams Ability to handle confidential commercial information Knowledge of additional languages is a plus Interested?
