VP of Data & AI | Relocate to Abu Dhabi, UAE Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (relocation package will be provided, further details below) Our client is a high‑growth SaaS company entering a transformative phase focused on leveraging data and AI to drive business outcomes. They are hiring a VP of Data & AI to build and lead the company’s BI, internal metrics, and AI/ML strategy. The company’s core product is centered around machine learning, making this role pivotal in shaping both the product and the business strategy. This is a senior leadership role for a technically deep data and AI expert who can operate at both strategic and execution levels. You will oversee multiple data functions, aligning BI, analytics, and AI/ML teams to deliver actionable insights, predictive models, and advanced AI solutions across the organisation. Seniority level: Director Employment type: Full-time Job function: Engineering and Information Technology Industries: Staffing and Recruiting Required Experience Advanced expertise in ML and AI, ideally with a research or academic background (PhD highly valued, but not essential) Proven experience building and leading BI, Data, AI, and ML strategy in large‑scale environments Strong people leadership capability, with a track record of leading, managing, and developing multi‑disciplinary teams Demonstrated experience owning and delivering large‑scale, product‑focused Data and AI strategies Relevant certifications such as AWS, GCP, DeepLearning.AI, Tensorflow, PyTorch, CDMP, TOGAF9, or equivalent Experience within Fintech, Banking, Cybersecurity, or Fraud is beneficial but not essential What’s in it for you?
