Our Global Fleet Support department provides technical support to the entire crane fleet deployed within Sarens on a global scale. If the local team needs (urgent) support (knowledge, experience, manpower, exceptional situations, etc.), they can always rely on the GFS Team. This team consists of a technical support team at Wolvertem HQ and a Flying Brigade team which can be deployed worldwide.

A Field Service Specialist within our Flying Brigade is assigned to the following tasks:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving urgent defects.
  • Technical support during critical lifting or projects with intensive lifting operations.
  • Larger maintenance work on cranes operating for longer project periods or in remote locations.
  • Supporting local Sarens team in times of high pressure.
  • Provide training and share knowledge where necessary following on-site observations.

In this role, you will report to the service manager who manages the GFS team.

PROFILE

A candidate for the position of Field Service Specialist to join the Flying Brigade stands out for his drive and inexhaustible passion for Hoisting Cranes.

Additionally, you can:

  • fall back on strong technical service experience in the world of heavy equipment, preferably in cranes.
  • rely on strong theoretical or background knowledge in the domain of electrics and hydraulics.

  • communicate clearly (in English, spoken and written).
  • don't have a problem working in 6-2 rotations.
  • are allowed to travel and work in Europe, are willing to travel and work globally.
