As an experienced Wind Turbine Service Technician, you are literally at the foundation of a sustainable future. You work with your hands, your head and your heart. Together, we make sure the turbines keep running, so the country keeps moving, and you do too.As an experienced Service Technician, you will perform planned maintenance, inspections and repairs on large wind turbines (mainly Vestas and Enercon). You work on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and converter systems — both independently and as part of a team. Because you work with all these technical disciplines, no day is ever the same.Your responsibilities include:Performing preventive and corrective maintenance according to instructionsAnalyzing and resolving technical faultsReplacing components such as gearboxes and generatorsFollowing all safety procedures (working at heights, NEN standards)Reporting completed work and incidentsSupporting inspections, root cause analyses and retrofit projectsOccasionally participating in weekend or on-call duties (scheduled rotation)What we expectYou have a relevant Mid-level electrical education (MBO 3 or 4 diploma, or equivalent in work experience);Experience in electrical engineering (min. 3 years), ideally combined with hydraulics and/or mechanics;You have demonstrable experience with low and high voltage and completed the course NEN3140 and NEN 3840 or the Belgium BA4 or BA 5 Attest;Good command of English, both spoken and written;Valid driver’s licence (category B);Physically fit and comfortable working at heights;Knowledge of converters, or willingness to learn;A solutions-oriented mindset, ability to work independently and strong team spirit.What's in it for youYou will receive an attractive salary between €3,500 and €4,660 gross per month;A Belgian employment contract (PC 209 – Employees);20 vacation days + 5 additional days;12 ADV days;Holiday allowance: 92% of your monthly salary;Plenty of development opportunities through training, specialisations and recertification;A safe and international working environment;The opportunity to contribute to a sustainable future within a growing international organisation.
