Decor Atelier Operational Lead

Droom jij ervan om deel uit te maken van het team achter de magische decors van Tomorrowland? In Antwerpen bedenken, tekenen en geven we de podia hun 3D vorm. En met ons Atelier in Schelle creëren, bouwen en installeren we de podia op de festival locaties. Wil jij binnen een sterk team dit verhaal mee uitrollen? Dan ben jij misschien de persoon die wij zoeken om het Tomorrowland Atelier verder uit te bouwen.
Als Operational Lead zal je verantwoordelijk zijn voor de langetermijnvisie en de strategie achter het Atelier.
- Je bent een echte people lead die luistert naar de coördinatoren, zichtbaar en aanspreekbaar is, die er staat voor het team.
- Je bent geen micromanager maar geeft vertrouwen en coaching, je neemt de lead in projecten of ondersteunt je team om de lead te nemen, zo volg je onder andere budget en planning mee op.
- Je challengt je team en durft de huidige werking in vraag te stellen op zoek naar verbeteringen.
- Je verdedigt de belangen van het team richting interne stakeholders.
- Je bouwt sterke relaties op met interne stakeholders en onderhoudt strakke communicatielijnen, hierin neem je een adviserende rol en stel je de juiste vragen.
- Je hebt voeling met wat er in het atelier gebeurt en gaat mee de vloer op.
- Je analyseert de financiële processen samen met je business controller, maakt forecasts en rapportages.
- Je hebt een sterk inhoudelijk inzicht in de financiële processen: je bekijkt samen met het team hoe de budgetten in elkaar zitten, geeft adviezen aan je eigen team of andere teams hoe het budget gedrukt kan worden.
- Je geeft een kader rond de processen waarmee je team dagelijks werkt (afspraken met leveranciers, facturatie en offerte opvragen, werking met freelancers, …) om de efficiëntie en het overzicht te verbeteren.
- Je maakt de processen inzichtelijk voor het team, daagt hen uit op hun manier van werken en stelt mogelijkheden tot verbeteren en optimalisatie voor.
- Je bekijkt de lange termijn van ons Decor Atelier, het team zorgt voor de dagelijkse werking, jij kijkt al een paar jaar verder. Zo hou je zicht op de planning en budgetten, en stuur je bij waar nodig.
- Je bekijkt efficiëntieverhogende investeringen zoals een nieuwe locatie, machines, betere bezetting en planning,…
- Je werkt naar een Decor Atelier 2.0 dat volledig klaar is voor de toekomst, waar je samen met het team trots op kan zijn.
- Je hebt enkele jaren ervaring als leidinggevende in een snel veranderende hands-on omgeving.
- Je hebt technische affiniteit, ruime materiaalkennis met notie van stabiliteit en structuur: zo kan je adviezen geven of inhoudelijke discussies aangaan met het creatieve en productionele team.
- Je hebt een sterk financieel inzicht en aantoonbare ervaring met het beheren van budgetten of het dragen van financiële verantwoordelijkheid.
- Je wil mee je schouders zetten onder onze passieprojecten waar je samen met het team trots op kan zijn.
- Je hebt ervaring met procesoptimalisaties en productieflows.
- Je kan mensen aansturen, motiveren, challengen en kan in verschillende situaties je mannetje staan.
- Je werkt gestructureerd en planmatig en bent communicatief sterk met de nodige beslissingskracht.
- Je gaat uitdagingen niet uit de weg, neemt je verantwoordelijkheid en kan om met onze strakke deadlines.
Je komt terecht in een zeer dynamisch team. De projecten zijn heel uiteenlopend en hebben een wereldwijde audience van miljoenen mensen. Ons bedrijf staat niet stil: innovatie en groei staan centraal. De projecten waaraan je werkt zijn meestal zeer vernieuwend en uitdagend.
