About the job:

Based in Brussels, Belgium you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO's Digital Endeavour. You will join Air and Missile Defence Command and Control (AMDC2) that ensures the harmonised planning, implementation, deployment, evolution and support of the Air Command and Control (AirC2) and Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) programmes as well as other assigned programmes. AMDC2 is the procurement and implementation body of the NCI Agency, charged with the effective planning, execution, delivery into service, evolution and through-life logistic support of NATO's and assigned national AirC2 and BMD systems.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Principal Project Manager who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:

  1. Risk Management
  2. Requirements Definition and Management
  3. User Experience Evaluation
  4. Contract Management
  5. Stakeholder Relationship Management

About you:

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:

  1. A Master's degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 5 years post-related experience. Or a Bachelor's degree with 8 years post related experience.
  2. Comprehensive domain knowledge across AirC2.
  3. Recent experience in Project management of C4ISR acquisition and / or development projects for a large organization.
  4. Proven ability to work successfully with military and civilian staff, Industries and in Sponsors/Industry negotiations.
  5. Experience in planning, design, system engineering and implementation of military or other C4ISR systems.
  6. Pre-existing experience within the NATO AirC2 capability delivery environment is considered desirable but not essential.
  7. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
