About Our Client Our client operates in the European energy sector , supporting electricity system coordination and integration of renewable generation. They focus on improving operational efficiency, system reliability, and market development across regional networks. Job Description Design and document high-level architectures for software, SaaS, cloud, and infrastructure solutions Define and validate data flows, process flows, and architecture decisions for project delivery Ensure automation and testing frameworks are integrated into solution designs Review vendor deliverables for compliance with architecture standards, quality, and cost Support implementation of secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions Produce architecture documentation using UML, ArchiMate, or equivalent The Successful Applicant 5+ years of experience as a solution architect in IT projects Hands‑on experience with cloud environments, containerization, SaaS, and large datasets Solid experience in automation, testing, and secure system design Strong ability to translate requirements into actionable IT architectures Vendor management and collaboration experience Analytical, problem‑solving, and structured communication skills Ability to work remotely with occasional European travel Fluent in English What's On Offer A full‑time, 1‑year contract (Time & Material) Remote‑first working arrangement, with occasional travel across Europe Competitive daily rate + travel compensation Exposure to strategic, regulated projects in the European energy market Opportunities to influence long‑term IT strategies and regional coordination architecture Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Staffing and Recruiting Location Brussels, Brussels Region, Belgium #J-18808-Ljbffr
