Job Responsibilities:
  1. Develop, optimize, validate and transfer robust in vitro immunological method assays to replace existing in vivo assays.
  2. Possess broad understanding of analytical technologies, concepts and principles.
  3. Practical experience with immunoassay technologies, concepts and principles, such as cell-based assays, ELISA, Mesoscale Discovery (MSD), etc., but may include additional laboratory and instrumental methods (PCR, rt-PCR, HPLC).
  4. Assist in preparation of documents for dossiers submission/regulatory documents.
  5. Assist in the coordination of technical transfer activities.
  6. Assure that the laboratories maintain a safe and clean working area.
  7. Provide support for equipment maintenance and calibration and for reagents-materials supply.
  8. Compliance with regulatory requirements, health and safety requirements and corporate policies.
Qualifications:
  1. BS degree in immunology, virology, biochemistry, or related field is required.
  2. 5 years of laboratory experience, minimum of 3 years immunoassay development experience.
  3. Proficient skills in executing ELISA, PCR, cell-based assays, and other immunological techniques.
  4. Experience in validation of biological assays and preparation of regulatory technical documentation.
  5. Good oral and written communication skills in French and in English are mandatory.

  6. Experience in validation (VICH guidelines).
  7. Skilled in applying statistical methods to assay performance.
