Sales & Business Development Manager in de Haven van Antwerpen

Voor een internationaal bedrijf met een sterke aanwezigheid in de logistiek en opslag van goederen in de haven van Antwerpen zijn we op zoek naar een gedreven Sales en Business Development Manager

Onze klant wil zijn aanwezigheid in de General Cargo-markt (palletgoederen, appliances, rijst, noten, zaden, etc.) verder versterken en zoekt daarom naar top commerciële versterking.

Wat houdt de rol in?

We zoeken een gedreven Sales- en Business Development Manager die actief op zoek gaat naar nieuwe klanten en opportuniteiten.

Je focus ligt op hunting en prospectie waarbij je deuren opent en langdurige relaties opbouwt met bedrijven die hun goederen in de Antwerpse haven (of elders) willen stockeren.

Je voornaamste taken:

Klanten bezoeken en tarieven bespreken

Actieve prospectie en het creëren van een sneeuwbaleffect in de markt

Focus op peulvruchten als startpunt, met verdere uitbreiding mogelijk

Contacten leggen met bedrijven die gemachtigd zijn om goederen op te slaan in de haven van Antwerpen

Analyseren van opportuniteiten en het initiëren van samenwerkingen

Zelfstandig en proactief werken, ondersteund door een sterk team en top reputatie

Jouw profiel:

Je hebt commerciële ervaring en bent niet bang om deuren te openen

Geduld en doorzettingsvermogen zijn essentieel voor deze rol

Een netwerk binnen relevante sectoren is een plus, maar geen must

Ervaring in de logistieke sector is mooi meegenomen, maar niet vereist

Je spreekt vloeiend Engels en eventueel Frans (andere talen zijn een pluspunt)

Je werkt zelfstandig, maar hebt wekelijks overleg met het team
