We are looking for an experienced Freelance Business Analyst to support finance industry clients on transformation, regulatory, and digital initiatives. You will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to analyse processes, define requirements, and support the delivery of compliant and effective solutions.This role suits a Business Analyst who is comfortable working in regulated environments and understands the pace and structure of financial services organisations.Key responsibilities• Engage with business and IT stakeholders across finance functions• Analyse existing business processes, systems, and data flows• Elicit, document, and manage business and functional requirements• Translate regulatory and business needs into clear user stories and specifications• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions• Support solution design in collaboration with product owners, architects, and developmentteams• Support testing, implementation, and change activities• Ensure solutions meet regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements• Act as a bridge between business, technology, and delivery teamsRequired experience and skills• Proven experience as a Freelance Business Analyst within the finance industry• Experience working in banking, insurance, asset management, or financial services• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills• Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance driven environments• Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery models• Strong analytical and documentation skillsNice to have• Experience with regulatory initiatives such as KYC, AML, MiFID, or data governance• Experience with core banking, payments, risk, or finance systems• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOpsContract details• Freelance contract• Start date subject to availabilityWe will endeavour to respond to your application ASAP.
