Project Safety Supervisor General description: The project safety expert is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all project employees and stakeholders. The focus is on proactively identifying risks, implementing safety procedures and advising the project management and the implementation team. Is a team player throughout the project organization. Tasks and responsibilities: Risk Evaluation and Analysis: Conducts workplace inspections and safety rounds at project sites. Submits a rap pop every day Draws up Task Risk Analyses (TRAs) and risk inventories. Identifies potential hazards and unsafe situations and advises on preventive measures. Project support and advice: Leads kick-off meetings to include safety aspects in the project plan. Advises project teams, contractors and project managers on safe working and risk management. Ensures compliance with HSE and H&S (Safety, Health, and Environment) plans. Checks compliance with the method statement in the project Communication and training: Acts as a point of contact for all safety-related questions. Proactively informs contractors, project leaders and other stakeholders about safety developments. Supports in promoting a culture of safety within the project. Coached the workers in the field. Incident handling: Is involved in investigations of safety incidents and accidents. Participates in incident evaluation and implements lessons learned. Levert input voor de lessons learned sessions. Documentation and reporting: Keeps track of risks and unsafe situations and reports on them. Ensures correct administration of safety documentation. Qualifications and skills: Education: Secondary Safety Science (MVK) or Higher Safety Science (HVK) is often required. Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Result-oriented and decisive, especially in emergency situations. Flexible and organizationally strong. Proactive attitude.
