Our client is a large group, active in infrastructure and green mobility with HQ in Brussels. MISSION The role of the Purchasing Category Manager is a key role within the Purchasing department to take care of the purchase of important projects related to maintenance and services. THE POSITION Define of purchasing strategy; Negotiate at high level key strategic contracts; Define KPI’s to monitor purchasing activities; Manage a small team of strategic buyers; Mobilize internal resources; Maintain network with all departments of the group; THE PROFILE Bachelor or Master degree; Proven experience (min 5 years) in purchasing; Excellent negotiation skills; Strong team member skills; Excellent communication skills; Personal skills: business acumen, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, hands-on, ability to manage complexity; Fluency in Dutch and/or French (and preferably English).
