Not only do we expect from the applicant that he demonstrates high level of technical skills (cf. IT skills list), but also a proven experience in technical design & mentoring, code reviews, ... The following skills are also required: - Able to function in an independent way, but in line with team objectives - Self-starter - Excellent communicator: Ability to simplify at a conceptual level without ignoring the underlying technical complexity, to communicate in a clear and informative manner at all levels. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch. Good in English/French - Drive for results: Makes things happen, is proactive, balances "analysis" with "doing", sets high standards for self and demonstrates a 'Can-Do' /'Will-Do' attitude - Client-focused: Understands the business and IT side of requirements and problems and responds effectively to them. - Team player: Promotes laboration and facilitates teamwork across the organization, gains support and commitment, resolves differences by determining needs and forging solutions that benefit all parties - Curiosity and the possibility to quickly pick up new knowledge We are looking for a Dutch-speaking person, and, able to apply best practices and use their experience to ensure proper project delivery. Project information: Within our client, you will join the group that provides services to Flemish Social Protection (VSB). One of the applications is eZBO where people can apply for a care budget for elderly people in need of care. This is a budget for 65'+ers with limited income and health problems. Experience: This person should have at least 7 years' experience in Java development.
